Who is the Online Personal Coaching program for?
Anyone who is ready to improve their health and fitness with the guidance and accountability of a dedicated coach. This program is foundational in creating life-long, healthy habits in men and women that want to look better, feel better, and perform better!
I have some medical issues. Can you still help me?
Yes! Areas addressed in personal coaching include, but are not limited to:

Childhood nutrition (picky eaters, developmentally delayed and all kids’ nutrition needs!)

Will this program help me lose weight?
Yes! This program will teach you what nutrients your body needs to burn fat and find your natural set-point. Additionally, the coaching curriculum includes methodologies that are used for long-term weight management so that the results are sustainable.
I just want to feel better and have more energy. Will this program help?
Absolutely! The habits and customized workouts will help you to feel more energized, have a greater sense of vitality and mental clarity, and improved stress-management.
Does this program include workouts?
Yes! This program includes individualized workouts for at home or in the gym. These plans are updated as you progress throughout the year. Chronic low-back pain, shoulder injury, fat loss, or muscle gain, these workouts can be customized for you.
What if I only want a workout program?
Check out Kali's 12-week custom workouts. They include a personalized, app-based 12-week workout plan with pictures and videos so you always know what to do in your workouts.
What if I don't have access to a gym?
Thats's ok! The workouts can be customized for your home with minimal equipment.
Will athletes benefit from this coaching program?
Yes! Athletes will learn how to fuel workouts and recover properly for their sport.
How will I know if this program will work for me?
If you follow the recommendations and stick with Kali for the full year then yes, you will get results. Once you make the commitment to get in better shape, Kali will be with you every step of the way.
Can I try out the program before committing to the whole year?
Definitely. By choosing to pay month-by-month you can determine if this program will be right for you with no obligation or contract.
Who is Kali and what makes her qualified to coach?
Kali loves fitness and helping people become healthier, fitter, and happier. To her, coaching means providing the best experience possible while providing guidance, accountability, and mentorship during the process. So whether it be helping people get control of their eating, feel stronger, prepare for having a baby, become leaner, or learn how to live a balanced life, Kali will be with you along the way.
Some background on Kali: She was recruited for track and field to California State University, Chico. After graduating with a Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Physiology, Kali became a certified personal trainer as a summer job while she applied to medical school. Within four months, Kali lost 40 pounds and transformed her life as a result of learning how to train smarter and eat with more mindfulness. After seeing the results in her own body and mindset, Kali decided to pursue a full-time career in fitness to help other people create healthier, happier lives.
A perpetual learner and life-long student, Kali has since received numerous certifications, including: a Graduate Degree in Kinesiology and Sport Psychology, CHEK Holistic Lifestyle Coach, Corrective Exercise Specialist, Fitness Nutrition Specialist, and a Precision Nutrition Coach. With over 10,000 hours of experience training men and women of all ages, Kali has helped hundreds of people become stronger, lose weight, improve general fitness, increase vitality, recover from and prevent injury, prepare for pregnancy and lose the baby weight, train for triathlons, Spartan races, half and full marathons, 5-10k races, and surf contests. And Kali feels prepared and excited to help you too!
Will Kali give me a meal plan?
There are no meal plans needed in this habit-based coaching program. I know that sounds crazy, but it works. This evidence-based approach is completely different than the typical "diet". Instead, you will learn a set of sustainable habits that will serve you for the rest of your life.
Why are you offering this type of coaching?
After years of working with people on their fitness, I realized that I also needed a structured system for helping people change the way they were eating. You can't out-train a bad diet! This is the best coaching program I could imagine for helping people get the results they want by creating sustainable habit-change.
Why coaching? Why can't I just pick up a diet book or read some online articles for free?
When you hire a coach, you increase the likelihood of getting to your goal because that professional cares about your progress. When you need to work around an old injury or trouble-shoot nutrition with your busy schedule, a coach will help guide you and provide the modifications needed so that you stay on track. Kali promises to not just give you individualized workouts and nutrition coaching, but also stick with you day in and day out so that you stay with it and succeed.
I'm a beginner with a lot of weight to lose. Will this work for me?
Yes! Everyone has to start at the beginning at some point. Kali uses this understanding to coach in ways that work for every individual from a variety of backgrounds, cultures, shapes, and sizes.
I'm not a beginner. Will Kali's coaching work for me?
Kali has worked with coaching clients that have been personal training for many years. However, the "one-size-fits-all" diet approach given to them in the past by other trainers (i.e.- chicken, broccoli, and brown rice for every meal) wasn't a sustainable way of living and made them feel burned out. With Kali's coaching, clients are able to learn nutrient specificity, timing, and quantities that fit their goals and needs.
Additionally, many experienced clients are able to focus on improving other aspects of their lives while Kali handles the nutrition and workout programming.
I'm thinking of joining with a friend of partner. Can we do the program together?
Of course. Kali encourages friends, partners, and family members to join together. That immediate social support makes a real difference for Kali's clients.
Is this just for young people?
Definitely not! Kali has coached men and women of all ages to successfully become healthier and happier.
Will I have to spend a lot of money on food and supplements?
No! Most people actually end up saving money on their grocery bills.
This is because they make more informed, careful decisions, eat out less, and spend fewer dollars on processed novelty foods, replacing them with whole, delicious natural foods.
As for supplements, Kali may recommend a few health-oriented products, based on your unique needs and goals. However, these are completely optional.
I like to do (Crossfit, triathlons, dancing, run, swim, bike, surf, yoga, walk my dog etc.) Can I still do the stuff I love while getting coaching?
Absolutely! Finding movements that you enjoy and work for you are part of living a healthy life. Kali fully supports movements that are fun and work for you! Kali will help coach you on the nutrition that supports the active lifestyle you want to live and the goals that drive you. I have a few injuries. Can I still join?
Yes! The workouts can be customized for your injury. Having a diet that supports your recovery will not only speed up the healing, but will also help you to have more energy during the process.
I follow a special diet (Paleo, plant-based, vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free). Will Kali still work with me?
Kali can help make your nutrition fully customizable. Just let her know what your dietary preferences are and she will be able to help out.
When does the next 12-month coaching program begin?
The next coaching group will begin Monday January 22, 2018. Space is limited.
